- On behalf of a correspondent in New Zealand, Roger has asked me how to
- display a hard space in System font. This is part of my reply.
-
- Dear Roger
-
- I wonder if the following system font does what you want.
-
- If you double click on the file [HardSpace] then you will load a system
- font into the screen driver which displays the character <Alt 160> as a
- hard space.
-
- Here is an example of a hard space - today is Sunday 7th March 1993.
-
- You can revert to the standard system character set by double clicking
- on the file [Standard].
-
- The hard space prints as a hard space (not the character you see on
- the screen). The 'soft' space prints in the usual way.
-
- I hope that this helps your New Zealand correspondent.
