  18. On behalf of a correspondent in New Zealand, Roger has asked me how to 
  19. display a hard space in System font.  This is part of my reply.

  23. I wonder if the following system font does what you want.

  25. If you double click on the file [HardSpace] then you will load a system 
  26. font into the screen driver which displays the character <Alt 160> as a 
  27. hard space.

  29. Here is an example of a hard space - today is Sunday 7th March 1993.

  31. You can revert to the standard system character set by double clicking 
  32. on the file [Standard].

  34. The hard space prints as a hard space (not the character you see on 
  35. the screen).  The 'soft' space prints in the usual way.
